Synexa Digital Pte. Ltd. (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website www.norvojournal.com (the “Site”). We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, how long we retain it, and what rights you have in relation to it. It applies to all visitors to the Site regardless of your location, including residents of the European Union, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, and Australia. Please read this Policy carefully. By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.

        3.1 Data You Provide Directly

  • Email address  – when you subscribe to our newsletter or opt in to receive editorial
    updates.
  • Name – if provided voluntarily when subscribing or contacting us.
  • Message content – if you contact us via our contact form or by email.

    3.2 Data Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our third-party service providers automatically collect:

  • IP address -used for analytics, fraud prevention, and server-side tracking.
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referring URL – the page you visited before arriving at our Site.
  • Pages visited and time spent – navigation behaviour on the Site.
  • UTM parameters and advertising click IDs –  including the Pinterest _epik click ID, used to attribute traffic to advertising campaigns.
  • Cookie identifiers – see Section 7 (Cookies) below.
  • Device identifiers

 

      3.3 Data from Third Parties

We may receive data about your interactions with our advertising campaigns from:

  • Pinterest -click and engagement data via the Pinterest Tag and Pinterest Conversions API.
  • Google – analytics and advertising data via Google Analytics.
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) – advertising engagement data via the Meta Pixel

4. How We Use Your Personal Data

Where we rely on consent as the legal basis, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have assessed that our interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests - see Section 10 (Your Rights).

5. Email Marketing

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use your email address to send you editorial updates, product guides, and recommendations from Norvo Journal. We will only send you marketing emails with your explicit consent. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in any email we send, or by contacting us at contact@norvojournal.com. We will process your unsubscribe request promptly. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Third-Party Analytics and Advertising Services

We use the following third-party services on the Site. Each service may collect data about
your visit in accordance with its own privacy policy.

6.1 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC, USA) to analyse how visitors use the
Site. Google Analytics collects data such as pages visited, time on site, and referral source
using cookies and similar technologies. This data is aggregated and anonymised where
possible.

6.2 Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram)

We use the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., USA) to measure the
effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and to build advertising
audiences. The Meta Pixel may collect your IP address, browser information, and page
interaction data.

6.3 Pinterest Tag and Pinterest Conversions API

We use the Pinterest Tag (browser-side) and the Pinterest Conversions API (server-side)
to measure the performance of our Pinterest advertising campaigns. These tools collect
data including your IP address, user agent, page URL, and the Pinterest _epik click ID (if
you arrived via a Pinterest ad).
Server-side data is transmitted directly from our servers to Pinterest’s servers and is used
solely for advertising attribution and optimisation. We implement event deduplication to
prevent double-counting between browser-side and server-side events.

6.4 CPA Affiliate Networks

When you click an affiliate link on the Site, data about your click (including your IP address, the referring page, and a unique click identifier) may be shared with the relevant CPA affiliate network for the purpose of tracking and attributing commissions. This data is used solely for affiliate commission verification.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (including pixels and local storage) to operate the Site and support our analytics and advertising activities.

  • Third-party analytics and advertising platforms – as described in Section 6.
  • Email service providers – to deliver newsletters on our behalf, subject to data
    processing agreements.
  • CPA affiliate networks – click data for commission attribution, as described in
    Section 6.4.
  • Legal and regulatory authorities – where required by law, court order, or to
    protect our legal rights.
  • Successors in business – in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets,
    your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to equivalent privacy
    protections   

All third parties with whom we share personal data are required to process it in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our instructions.

9. International Data Transfers

Synexa Digital Pte. Ltd. is based in Singapore. Some of our third-party service providers
(including Google, Meta, and Pinterest) are based in the United States and may process
your data outside your country of residence.
For transfers of personal data from the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United
Kingdom to countries that do not provide an equivalent level of data protection, we rely on
appropriate safeguards, including:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
  • UK International Data Transfer Agreements (IDTAs) for UK data transfers.

 

Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) also imposes obligations on us when transferring personal data outside Singapore.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

For EU and UK Residents (GDPR / UK GDPR) : 

  • Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) — request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to restriction of processing — request that we limit how we use your data.
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
  • Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.
  • Right to lodge a complaint — with your national data protection supervisory authority

Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) also imposes obligations on us when transferring personal data outside Singapore.

For California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

For Canadian Residents (PIPEDA)

Canadian residents have the right to access personal information we hold about them and to request correction of inaccurate information.

For Australian Residents (Privacy Act 1988)

Australian residents have the right to access and correct personal information held about them under the Australian Privacy Principles.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at legal@norvojournal.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days (or within the timeframe required by applicable law). We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

11. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security

12. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under the age of 16 (or 13 in the United States). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us at legal@norvojournal.com and we will delete it promptly.

13. Links to Third-Party Sites

The Site contains links to third-party websites, including merchant product pages accessed via affiliate links. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically
